I am shaking my head. There is some good racing esp between the guys that "use" to race at the fair grounds. Some of these guys are guys we have seen race weekly. How can you tell me that over 150 sprint cars is not a good thing for an economy of a city.
Just shows you that Mayor Mcdumb**a is a a dunb A** and he has not an idea what he is talking about in regards to racing in the area. I would love to get ahold of the Jerrod lover all over agian.
I am pissed there is no reason a track such as the Fair grounds should have every went by the wasteside.

Saw where he got some kind of national award again.....they announced it at the Thunder game last Wednesday night and after the game it looked like an ESPN crew were doing a one on one interview with him........can't stand it when they show him at the games on the scoreboard with his SE grin.

Hea Mike I am sure he would never let ESPN show how he bowed his weak chest at me me when I said that he told the Ora that if they would go along with the hotel/motel tax then the track would stay forever.
I know till I die I will always remember how the city manager will look at him when I brought it up. The look was like WTF did you say.

I am currently sitting in the parking lot of I-30 speedway. Got here about 1pm and the lot was half full.
Now it is 330 and they are sending people to the alternate parking area.
Very good racing last night. Track was pretty slick up til. the last couple of qualifiers when it got brushed off and started taking rubber.
Definitely looking forward to tonight. 125 cars in the pits. WOOHOO! Should be a hell of a show.
A wide representation of drivers. There are track champions, national series champions, World of Outlaw drivers, NCRA drivers, ASCS drivers, 4 ladies, 1 13 year old (won his heat race last night) and 1 NASCAR (Nationwide Series Driver).
