Roush Yates is selling raffle tickets for $5 each. The prize is a new ASCS 360 Ford engine. This engine sells for $35,000. Even if you don't have a race car, the winner could sell the engine here on hoseheads forum .
The engine include:
- Engler Injection
- Del West titanium valves
- Jesel rockers
- Barnes oil pump
- Pankl connecting rods
- CP pistons
- Light weight block
It is ready to race, just add headers and u-joint! Every penny of the money collected goes to a local School.
If you are interested in tickets give me a call directly. 1 ticket or a hundred, no ticket order is too small.

Kind of like the Polish $1M Lottery - you get $1 a year for a million years - provided you win!

The raffle is for CHARITY guys. A lot of hard work and $ is invested in this engine. RY is not skiming the cost of the parts off of the raffle ticket. If $5,000 is raised we will give the school $5,000, if $40,000 is raised we will give $40,000.

Randy Martin has won a number of races this year with a RYR 360. It's a screamer and has some pretty impressive numbers.

I looked back and couldn't find you being a dumbass on this post Leon, so it must have been on another thread.

Thanks BigFish....I am not one of those "things" rdb (real dumb blonde) accused me of being.
He's probably a closet NASCAR fan and just having a bad day!

NASCAR should not be mentioned on here unless its in a derogatory manner. Thanks for your efforts Jeremy. Its no surprise the chevy guys aren't even in favor of charity!
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

OW: with all due respect... saying that the sprint motor will win about as often as his Nascar motors... that is kinda harsh even if you do have a winky on the end of it. Some other comments on this thread... such as wins/starts... huh? What does it matter? Anyone can read on Hoseheads that Randy Martin and Chuck Hebing have won some races with their Roush/Yates Ford this year. Bobby East won a winged asphalt race with a Roush/Yates Ford.
Thank you to Jeremy & Roush/Yates for their charitable work. I think the phrase "kill them with kindness" wouldn't hurt when a company does something like this.
Being skeptical about a motor given away for charity... none of us have any business doing so.

Tex, I think you and a couple more take things to seriously.
I find nothing wrong with my posts.
Sorry you and a couple of others are offended but I will not delete my thoughts for the satisfaction of a couple of posters.
My question was serious. The Roush/Yates motors have done squat in FRANCECAR this year and I was wondering how his sprint motors won.
Martin "appears" to have a good record. Even if all seven wins were at the same track it speaks well for the performance of the motor he obtained.
Take care....stay away from "Ma's Roadhouse" down there. Watched the first few minutes of the program and realized she, and the producers, are total wackos.

p.s. you still doing your "boat" thingy?
