Wow, hard to believe it's been 20 years since Ascot went away. Watching the video reminded me how much fun it was when you could actually see the driver working the wheel compared to now where maybe you can see part of the helmet with all the panels around the cockpit. Sometimes I'm not sure progress is a good thing although safety wise obviously it's better. I sure miss turn one with a cold Foster's in my hand......

I've found some more Ascot stuff to put up this winter, mostly 1984 - 1989.
When I get the chance, I'll post it.
Those of you who know Shane Carson, will know that he is the main driving force behind getting these vids out, so if you see him, thank him. None of the stuff that comes from this corner , would have ever happened without his involvement. He has opened a lot of doors to more vids that would otherwise be lost.
