Some of the talk at Tulare from fans and drivers suggested that a National ASCS Winged 360 show is a real possibilty at Perris next year.
I saw a press release stating the NEW Golden State series will travel the west coast and that there would be a race in SoCal. A knoweledgeable fan thought there would be a 410 Winge race at Ventura.
So nothing confirmed as of yet, but these races seem very plausible.
Also at Tulare, there was no mention of the USAC Sprint and midget show next month. Last year they promoted it very heavily. A fan behind me said the races were likely to be cancelled. Hope this is not true as I believe there would be a very strong car count and a good crowd.
Other rumblings were that Kyle Larson and Tim Kaeding might do the Oval Nationals, (maybe they have already entered). Since Kaeding is out of the Roth 83 now, someone mentioned he might run one of his father's car (Buds). Maybe Tim could drive the #38 car if it didn't work out with his dad.
As I stated earlier, none of this information is confirmed. Came from knowledgeable fans and drivers. Take it with a grain of salt.
One common theme at Tulare, the 410's are dieing in both winged and non-winged. There just not cost effictive for what they cost and more importantly what it costs to maintain them.

Not likely at Ventura. Naylor hates those garage doors. (However we all know the lady on the street will do whatever for the right price)

Tim Kaeding has run the 83 Roth car in non-wing shows in the past. Wings in Socal - don't think so.

Wings at Jimmy's joint, not likely. Wings at Perris, lets hope so. Here's a couple of SoCal guys that might go for wings. Mike and Bob at Trophy Cup.

Evan Suggs is definitely one of the most underrated drivers on the West Coast...no huge hauler, no huge sponsor, no huge attitude...just huge skill...and always polite in the pits. It would be awesome to see this kid get some corporate backing...I think his on-track performance has proven he deserves it!
