was told that Danny Womack, promoter of Outlaw Motor Speedway, called Kip Hughes and Chris Dawson and told them they were not welcome at his stock car race... LOL, this is how to promote a race, keep the fastest legal cars away from the track, LOL!!!

So now i wonder if he will tell jason hughes, kelly shryock, rodney sanders, and ect...that they are not welcome at his track because they are too fast for him or the others that he caters too...

What a joke of a promoter...

I would call Danny Womack personally and ask HIM the question before slammin him on a forum. Been there several times since he took over, and the man puts on a great show.

was told David Smith, the promoter of this site, called bull$h!t and deleted posts like this, LOL!!!

I like the bigger races with all the fast guys, that way if we win you can feel as though you did something. Not just beat a few local boys.

Direct quote from Mr. Womack, "somebody is gonna win my $5,000 to win stock car race, and it's not gonna be Kip Hughes"! He told me this while I was in in Woodward, Ok at Ramirez Motorsports Racecar Shop. I knew why he was calling because Chris Dawson had already called me and gave me the heads up. Knowing that, I turned my phone to speaker phone so everyone could hear and verify that this actually happened. He later informed me that i could bring another car as long as it was a p.o.s. and wasn't capable of winning, (thats not a direct quote from Mr. Womack, just my interpretation). Now to the questions about the car I drive. This car was built in Enid,Ok at Dirt Performance by a group of lacal racers. It was built for Calvin Bradford Jr, and Calvin did most of the fab work as well. I believe Willis Adams and some others also had a large part in it. It is a metric frame car, front to rear, with stock gm suspension pieces, no ford spindles, or swedge tube tie rods ect. Therefore this car IS totally legal by the set of rules put out by Mr. Womack and his staff. I also asked Mr.Womack if he would put on his website that he asked me not to come, just to make the whole thing public. I'm not aware if that has happened but would assume that it hasn't!

I deleted my rumor since you have come on here and claimed that it was untrue. I cannot find proof of it so it shouldn't have been on here anyways. I find it pretty wild that they won't let you out their as long as your car is legal. I will have my car out their but it's not like my .480 360 motor would have had anything for you anyways. My goal is just to make the A and see how long I can survive after that.

Kip, I don't have a dog in the hunt here but, on this side of the state "stock cars" look a lot different than on your side. Kind of like modifieds on your side of the state(NCRA no schrader valve shocks or aluminum oil pans what the heck did I miss the time warp?). As you are well aware of being a promoter is a business venture and to keep the doors open you must be successful at least to a certain level. The general consensus in the tri-state area (OK, KS, MO, AR) is the cars that were dominant last year were what over here on this side of the state are limited lates. Again, I don't have a dog in the hunt here. What I do know is there are probably 60-70 "stock cars" that have raced at OMS over the course of the season. None of them look near as cool as yours! Those guys perception and train of thought is they cant keep up with you or Chris, point blank. If thats the case suddenly we have a two car race because none of these guys show up. Now let me say once more I don't have a dog in the hunt. What would I do? Well I would be aggravated too, but, I would probably but a different body on the thing and make it look like a monte carlo or something and still go kick their ass. Remember perception. Lastly like I said before I don't have a dog in the hunt. Good day

Ya know, I understand Mr. Womacks concerns, but my theory is if you want "stock body type cars" then right it in your rules. Know what I mean? I wouldn't be upset at all if when he sent out his rules they were rewritten to where my car would not be legal. BUT, that didn't happen. In all honesty I was expecting the rules to exclude my car,but I'm still legal by them! Oh well, i'm not wanted there so I'll go watch!! Maybe Mr. Womack could give me a free pit pass for the weekend for the inconvienence!!

I wonder if Mr Womack is gonna let Adam Schrag run it this year ? Adam is super fast and had the F1 Kip Hughes beat at the big Ada, Ok show but couldn't save his right rear..Or what about the famous Randy Timms in the awesome # 41 car ?.Randy looked fast too but lost I think 2 right rears in the feature.. Tires won't be an issue at Outlaw !..Or how about the Crafty Mr Jerry Derr finishing a strong 2nd at Ada ? I'm sure he'll get a handle on the forward bite and be superfast..This guy doesn't like to lose and when he hits it look out ! Are they gonna let them run ?

Then there's Rocket Ray Nulf #14 and Gary Nulf in the 719 out of Hutchinson, always a threat to win with more than I think 40yrs combined experience with these cars and super fast ! Are they gonna let them run ? How about the #8 car also at Ada that spanked the field Saturday night and had a strong run early in the feature ? Are they gonna let him run ? All these cars were legal at Ada, Ok with even tougher rules.. As far as I know they are All planning on going..Forgive me for not posting all the fast guys names..There are too many to remember right now.. But would they let anyone run it if they thought they were Fast ?
