I thought I heard it announced two weeks ago at the Gold Crown midget Nat. at Tri-City but last night at Haubstadt I heard that it was going to happen. Bascially replace the race at Kemper. $5K to win. The indoor track at DuQuoin (aka "the mini-mile" ) is a neat little place as I've been there six previous times but not sure about pit spacing in what could be pretty cold weather as they'd have to pit outside or in a barn. Heard they are trying to get something like 80 cars to compete. Can anyone else confirm anything about this race?

Invitational race, cant remember how many were to be invited. 50 sticks in my mind for some reason. Should be able to finally make it there in Dec.
