Ohh... Come on and get real wawrd1 ! The Dems flippin'...the 'Publicans floppin.... They're all the same in that they believe the most important thing.....is keeping THEIR job & putting as much money as possible in THEIR pocket. On the national level...Politics is just another name for Organised Crime. It's really sad.

Kruseman, Darland, and Stanbrough - 3 of the greatest non-wing drivers are entered for the $5K to win All Coast Construction Race with an additional $5k for the series championship.
Also expected is Rutherford, Ford, Taylor, Hendrix, Camarillo Bros, Roa, Conrad.
Would not be a surprise to see Nic Fass, Matt Mitchell, or Jimmy Crawford at Ventura too (they were racing last week there or they could be just as easily at Perris.
Two great non-wing shows with some of the best drivers in the country at both Perris and Ventura. The Legends of Ascot winner's share is over $5K and is attracing Damion and Casey. Plus they have the big buck Trophy Dash, anyone who saw the original at Ascot will never forgot the intensity of the 4 dashes.
Tulare has a $2,500 to win Friday, $3K for Saturday and $8K for the overall winner with some big name drivers also (Kaeding, Sweet, Bacon along with 77 other hungry drivers).
Can not go wrong with any of the 3 races. 3 great race tracks/facilites, big name drivers, Trophy Cup and Legends of Ascot have tradition and extra special festivites, and the racers get to race for a few more dollars than usual.
My favorite time of the year, especially with all the big events on the West Coast with all the great drivers from all over.

Nice if the promoters would have gotten together and flipped a coin last year. One took Friday night and one took Saturday. Both Perris and Ventura would have a heck of a show!

Flipped the coin again, landed on edge, SUCKS that I have to chose between shows, have tickets for both , would have liked to see both. Maybe next year. To bad one of the tracks is loosing my $$ when they both could have got some of my cash!!

Politicians are a little like bad parents. They shower the children(voters) with gifts (toys/pork projects) to keep in good favor. As long as the politicians do things for the constituency they get re-elected. It is hard for politicians to do the tough love thing, ie: you can't have a new Wii(we can't do that project) because the money just isn't there. And so we get deeper in debt. Their is also the my project is more important than your project(they have to say that to get re-elected), but somehow they both get approved and the taxpayer gets stuck with the bill. I'll get off the soapbox now so that we can get back to important stuff like which events we can afford to go to. I know that I can't afford to hit them all.

Dang, I flipped a coin and it said Tulare Friday and Ventura saturday. Kinda the best of both worlds. But who knows I might change my mind again (and check the weather forecasts). ANyone else tired of this drizzle.
Talking about promoters, nothing really big going on next week, but there is a VRA/Senior race at Ventura. Ventura could of easily moved their big race to that date. And on Thanksgiving weekend, Irwindale just scheduled a big stock car race the same night as the Howard Memorial. Not that those two crowds mix much, but I do like to see all kinds of racing. Not a hard choice for me, a midget/sprint double header will always be my choice over ANYTHING.
