Andy Flash Gordon has a new nickname it is Hulk Hogan. If you see him ask him what it is about. Funny story.

Track was real slimy for hot laps as the night went on it took rubber and got dusty. It did look smooth though.

There were enough new cars on Sat to run 3 B features. The reason the B's were ran is go make these new guys at least ran once before going for the money.

Crowd was pretty good. Overall it was a good race night. Much like Cody has said if Brill can get a special sprint show I think the place would be packed.

Mods

Kirk and Osborn both broke in the hot laps. There was a modified that pulled in from Liberal. He did win the B.

18 cars took the green in the A feature. Davis got out to the early lead. He reached la[ traffic by lap 10 Davis led flag to flag. The race was for 2nd between Bailey and Burt most of the race until lap 21 when Bailey brought out a yellow for a spin between 1 and 2. As the race got close to the end most everyone was on the bottom.

Sprints

4 cars were in the B. All Four of them were at the OCRS race Friday night. Danny Smith won the B

14 cars took the green in the A. Bruce Jennings got out to the early lead. K. Cobb went right to the high side with Toho right there with him. Cobb took over the lead by lap 4 out of 2. There was a yellow for Gil White who had the F5 car on the bottom of 4 of lap 4. Bruce was put back in led and he lead on the restart. Cobb back to the high side once again. He looked to have this race in checked. However, a hard charging David Lambert was moving fast to catch him. Lambert caught Cobb by lap 14. Lambert took the lead on lap 16 using the bottom. It looked as if Lambert was going to take home the cool grand for the win. It was not going to be his night as Cobb got back around him on lap 20 to take the lead. Sitting in the stands with a couple of champ drivers we all agreed that if Lambert had not been in traffic and his brakes were not glowing he would have won the race.

Mini Sprints

No B for the these cars

9 cars took the green. This was a Cody Metscher show. He had about a straight away lead on the field by lap two. I had stopwatch on him and he turned 16 second laps. He was into lap traffic by lap 5. The most excited part of the feature was when Burks passed Metscher on a restart. Seemed as if Cody was either slow on the drop of the green or was not expected it to drop when it did. Although, Burks time at the lead was short lived as Metscher passed him back and took off.

EMod

8 cars were in the B. Gould in the 1X car from Ardmore took home in the B. He had a full straight lead on the rest of the field by lap7.

17 e mods took the green for the A. At the beginning of the race it was side by side racing between Sweitzer and Robinson. Sweitzer took the lead however it was not for long as a yellow flew for a three car pile up coming out of two. Unfortunately Gould was one of the ones involved. On the restart it was side by side once again but this time Steve Robinson took the lead. Danny Morris in the 7m car took the leap on lap 2 using the bottom side. Jeremy Allen in the square deal emod using the bottom side took the lead on lap 5. After that no one could even catch Allen. By lap 10 he had reached lap traffic and by lap 23 he had about half a track lead. He had all but 6 cars lapped.

Mini Stock

No B for these cars.

13 cars took the green. Burger was out at the start of the race by lap 4 he had a full straight lead on the field. On lap 6 he was into lap traffic. It looked as if Burger was going to have this thing under wraps however by lap 13 Tate Green got right beside Bruger. Unfortunately for Green he bobbled going into had that gave Burger the chance to get back out and take the feature.

Pro/Street

12 cars took the green for the A. At the start of the race Reed took the early lead. Osborn in the 40 car was right with him. They were side by side with each other by lap 3. With Osborn looking to the low side. On lap 3 the yellow was flown for Webber who stalled on the top side of 4. He had lost a drive-shaft. On the restart Reed as back out as Moreno was pushing on Osborn. All the time this was happening Wolfe was moving up fast though the field. On lap 7 Jeremy Allen(Wellston) stalled on the top of 2. On the restart Reed took the bottom side as Osborn was all over him. By lap 11 there was a three car battle between Wolfe Osborn and Reed. On lap 15 Wolfe took the lead by using the high side. After he took the lead no one had anything for him.

e sprint

Taft broke in the heat. Looked as if the rear end broke. However he was back out for the A.

8 cars took the green for the A. Risley took the early lead. However there was a yellow thrown for a Forsgren spin. On the restart it was the 42 of Risley back out for the lead using the bottom side. James and White was the race in the beginning. However White caught Risley and took the lead on lap four using the high side. On lap 8 White bobbled in two and allowed Risely to catch him and pass him. However, White passed him back on the high side. On lap 12 Risley using the bottom of the straight passed White for the lead. He got out to a 2 to 3 cars lead. On lap 17 White using the high side closed the gap on the 42 car. Risley bobbled in 2 which allowed White to pass him for the lead. At the flag stand it was side by side with White narrowly edging out Risley for the win.

Great recap as always Erich! Track was real racey with enough cusion for the tires to grab. Side by side racing was exciting in the features. Congratulations to all the winners! Great job to my favorite driver Brian "The Wolfeman" Wolfe!
