I call BS on Crawley leading laps 1-30, hell they didn't even run 20 due to all the shit they managed to run before running out of time for the ASCS cars!

With a yellow out on lap 11 they announced that the time was getting late and the race would be cut short, but never did mention to what!
Once they dropped the green it was another 3 laps and he gave the half way signal (that would be at lap 14).
Another 4 laps and he showed 5 to go (that would be at lap 19).
Another 2 laps and he gave the 2 to go (that would be at 21).
So they had a 23 lap race per my count, and I was trying to keep track as I was pissed! I'm probably off a few but that still doesn't explain the fact that they ran every support division and ran out of time for the premier class.
Glad I didn't pre-buy a two day ticket.

The sprint cars were the 2nd division out for their feature races. Not the last of 6 divisions. The feature ran 25 green flag laps; which the drivers were glad, as a rare instance of the track taking rubber took place. But there was still tons of passing even then. Gary Wright advanced from 10th to 2nd.

Other than two modified heats that took less than 15 minutes, there were a solid five hours of open wheel racing with passing all over the place.
Now we are complaining about five laps on a track that was clearly taking rubber? I think Crawley would have led 40 more laps, let alone five. The heats were great and other than Tony Bruce winning from the front row, were won from row three on back. By the way, Tony started 11th in the feature because there were so many passing points going around.
Can't wait for tonight...
