Randy:
Been awhile since you tried to dis-credit anything I have done.

I will let fast qualifier Randy Sallee from Woodward tell the story of tech.

From Randy Sallee's facebook post:
I finished 5th in the feature which locked me in for sundays big race. PS, I've never been through that much tech in my life! Im happy they actually did though. Alot of these guys who have been cheating for a long time finally got caught!!

Didn't say one word about any dis-credit. I had the same Idea for a challenge race similar to your event 3 years ago but decided against it. Anybody that reads the rule book and knows race cars can see the NSM should be faster than a SSM thus a mismatch for a heads-up race. You are obviously not as familiar with the top 3 cars or the SSM rules as I am. So, now that the SSM kicked butt on the NSM they probably won't want to come back for a hundred to start, who knows. When are you moving to Enid?

Randy - did you not say something about Tech?

Top 10 had 3 Southern Mods and 7 Nothern Mods.

Entry list showed almost 50/50.

But Mr. Cross and Mr Sanders both are in a league of the own and are allowed to race in this class this year. Not anymore as 2011 rules were already changed to prevent A mod drivers to drive any kind of Sport Mod. Not my rules IMCA, but this year it was OK. Mr. White also did this.

Does that take away from the event, no one felt that way. Even the Northern guys that drove all the way from Wisconsin knew they could compete and thought it was cool to race against them. The top 5 in 10 more laps would have changed big time. That was very evident. There were people who had saved their tires and they were coming to the front they just did not have enuff laps.

Now for your Enid question. I love that place and the race fans are hungry for quality events and they support racing like no city I have ever seen. I almost think an AMA flattrack race would work because these people are passionate about their racing and know and understand without their support that track will be another parking lot. Move there? Not in the plans. I have a beautiful home and office in Texas for one.

I will accept the contract renew here in Dodge and am proud the City and the County have shown their respect and appreciation by working with me. Hopefully so I can be at DCRP for along time.

By the way the times were so close it was a virtual toss up. Winners always come to the front no matter what and no one there thought they had brought a knife to a gunfight.
