That was cool watching Tony Norem bouncing off the wall lap after lap and trading sliders with Barickman last night at Ogilvie. It was a slick track but nobody got on their head in the Sprints but we did see a Street Stock take a big tumble. Whoda' seen that one coming? They were having trouble on the slick track in all classes, lots of spins in the Features for all classes but all in all a good night of racing.
My son Les and I both agreed, we like Ogilvie.

I agree Stan. My first trip to Ogilvie, nice facility, great people and excellent racing. I hope the UMSS sprints can run there more next year. Tony Norem put on a great show.

I agree also Stan, Great track and and very fair with pit fees.. You could even taste chocolate in their hot chocolate.. Tony put on a very exciting show..The Arlington fans are in for some fun in 2011, Cant hardly wait.. Fans need to come to the pits to meet Tony.. He is a great driver and even better ambassador for the sprint cars.. I heard rumors,that he may be at East Bay Florida in February..

That would be cool if he could make it to Florida. Would that be the Laney Memorial King of the 360's race at East Bay?

Yes,that it is.. I was at the race that night he got killed...What a shame to lose such a fine young man....RIP Laney

I sat on the wall at Superior talking to him for about 20 minutes while watching them run in the track. He treated me like I was his long lost pal and we talked everything from Sprint Car racing to replacing tile. Great young man gone all too soon.
