JMO, but i think the 2010 title fight just ended last night. I think it's going to be tough to catch the 14 car with just a few races to go!!! I was hoping it was going to be a fight with the top 3 or 4, and it still could, but over 100 pionts is going to be a up hill battle for anyone to make up?

I would have to agree.
I thought that with the weekend Steve had at Chico he was done but now after the weekend he had at the Grove he's really got a hole to dig out of.
Schatz was looking good to gain some points on Friday but that didn't happen.
and Saldana hasn't been the same since the injury.. it's unfortunate that had to happen.

If Meyers holds on to win, I think it gets at least a bit of an * because he took over the point lead when Joey was injured. Really sucks for Saldana to lose his best chance because of an injury.

why start making excuses now? why an *? the woo points are based off of who does the best over the whole season. joey missed one race because of his unfortunate injury. he still got show up points for it. i hear a lot of you complaining about provisionals. i hear people say if a guy misses the show that should be it. so why don't i hear complaining that a guy got points for not even showing up? sure it is too bad joey got hurt, but you can't blame not winning the championship (if that happens) on missing one race. it takes a whole season to put together a championship run. if he would have had some better nights during the season he would would have more points now, period. it's all part of racing and you have to put together a better season than everyone else, no matter what, to win a championship. except in nascar sprint cup i guess.

Well, I was wondering how long it would take for the * talk to start. Now I know. Like jackhammer said, it is a "Seasonal" championship, not a 1 race championship. Of course, if Meyers does win, the Meyers naysayers will say he must have cheated somehow.

Haha!!!! That's the most ignorant comment I have ever heard!!! I can't stop laughing at you! Lets just give joey the benefit of the doubt here and Just say he won that race he missed and for some season Jason didn't even make the a....that still only gives joey fifty more points on Jason. And how far is Meyers ahead of saldana?? Simple math here people.

Give me a break! If Joey would have known how to lift it wouldnt have happened, everyone else lifted! Joey crashed him self and he has to deal with the stupid move he did. The points battle has more then two drivers(Jason and Joey)

Meyers hasn't won/lost it yet, if he wins he'll have handled the pressure, if he losses he'll have thrown it away (and it isn't hard to do [look at Steve Kinsers uncharacteristic mistakes the last few weeks])

The fact is due to an unfortunate accident Meyers was handed a championship. Now I suppose he could still vomit all over himself these last few races but with Saldana missing Lernerville it all but sealed his title. There are no hypotheticals it's all facts. It was a battle between two drivers that more than likely would have been decided at the last race. Your guy's going to win a title and your already on here trying to justify it

Jason Meyers a class act? Never seen that statement here before. King of the chop down move in the corners, then blaming the other guy. Feel bad for Joey Saldana. End of the year and that happens, will be a tough winter. That's racing I guess.

Im not making excuses for any of the drivers on the WoO tour, but the driver that put together the best season will win the championship. Everyone had bad night racing this many time in a season. If Joeys mistake he did at ELDORA takes him out of the championship,he better have learned from his move and not do it next year. Plus if Joeys one race is going to take him out of the championship,so he got fast time, won his heat, dash and A every nite? otherwise if he would have won every nite then he would have a problem missing a nite,so many be its the whole season that he needed to do better!

Only 5 races left. Myers better not bobble because I wouldnt count the King out just yet. Its a long shot, but after the career he has had nothing Kinser does would surprise me. Feel bad for Joey but its racing.

"What's with the "sure your not" old great WFOB?
I have watched him from the begging but I am not a fan.
There are three drivers I give a rip about...and none of them are touring full time.
That would be:
Andy Forsberg
Jonathan Allard
TK
Since you know everything you might add this to your "mental lapse" department.

I know two of those three can't compete outside of the west coast! Right or wrong?
