It was announced tonight at the sprint car driver's meeting that the future Gold Crown Midget Nationals will have nonwing sprints running all three nights as the support class!
On a side note, if you're not here, the need to get here! The racing was INSANE tonight!!!

Nobody cares, Hawker. Didn't you know that all the real racing which fuels the "posse vs. WoO" fued is going on out in PA? *Sigh*.........Anybody have complete results for the sprint car portion of the Gold Crown?

Glad to hear that they're running the sprints without the lid again tonight. Didn't make sense to me why they'd want to bring in some 360 racers in when they already had a decent field of wingless guys there. They're there already so race 'em!
Here's another note, while Dave Darland is racing Kunz's midget at Tri-City, Dickie Gaines is going to run Dave's sprinter (Goodnight #39g) at the $10k to win MSCS finale at Lawrenceburg.

Petey, it will be winged 360's tonight....the future events will be nonwing. If you come out, drop by and say hi....we are camping in the parking lot about 1/4 of the way down on the left....look for the white Dodge truck with the POW/MIA tag on the front.

Good seeing ya again last night! Like I said I misread what you wrote here sorry. Hell of a race last night! That one takes the cake for the best race I've seen this year and that was hands down the best feature I've ever seen at Tri-City. And it was a safe race too with just one caution for 50 laps and no one did anything to try to mess each other up. Great stuff! Too bad Buckwalter broke, he could have been another player in the end.
