Here is the video. I missed the actual crash. It was good that he took out the fence and not the wall. He told me he was not even sore.

Wow, I dont think I have ever seen that much fence taken down . One question, I have not been to this track so I don't know it's layout but i wonder why they pulled the car back on the track when it looked easier to take out on the pit side.It looked like they had a heck of a time removing the car.

theres is a second fence and thats what stoopped the car ,so they probably had to bring the car back on to the track because of that?

They had to remove the car towards the track as it was wrapped up in the fence cables which is why it took so long. It should also be noted that IRA's traveling safety team has the jaws, and all the bells and whistles needed to extract a driver, plus some are trained paramedics, but most importantly they have the absolute respect of ALL the IRA teams. Cables were not cut but unwrapped from the car as initial thoughts were to try and make fence repairs.

Anybody remember when John Bankston (RIP) flipped over/through the turn one wall at Osky? They did the same thing - lifted the car back onto the track side of the fence and hauled it away - also took forever. At least the races continued that night!

This video reminds me of Snapper at Powercom a few years back, when the pits were around turns 3 & 4. If I remember right, he flipped off the track, over the fence and close to the push off lane coming out of the pits.

all I can think of is the poor car owner, its terrible enuff knowing you just wrecked a bunch of parts, but, helplessly watching them remove it is frustrating , I hope the saftey crew did well, sometimes more gets broken (post crash) than some people understand.. most importantly. glad he was Ok!
