Dollansky Posts Solid Finish at Lernerville

The Commonwealth Clash was the next event on the schedule for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they headed to Lernerville Speedway on Saturday.

A total of 33 drivers signed into the pit area for the evening with Dollansky posting a strong lap in qualifying aboard the Karavan Trailers #7 with a lap of 13.122 seconds which was 14th quick. With the top sixteen in qualifying inverted into four heat races, Dollansky started on the pole of heat race two where he checked out on the field to take the checkered flag.In the 10-lap dash event, the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim started 9th where Dollansky was able to get around Lucas Wolfe and Brad Sweet and better his starting position by two spots for the feature.

In the A-Main, the Big Game Treestands #7 started inside of row four. When the green flag flew, Dollansky used a good start to motor up to the fifth position by the lap 2 and then close in on Steve Kinser for fourth by lap 4.When a caution came out on the 27th circuit for Kinser, Dollansky used a strong restart to take third. In the remaining laps Dollansky would lose a couple spots but earn a strong top five finish. "We had a decent night", said Dollansky. "We won our heat and came from the 5th row of the dash, had we not lost a couple pounds of air in the left rear tire in the feature we would have had a better finish."

Up next on the schedule is one final weekend of racing at Williams Grove Speedway as the World of Outlaws face off against the 'Pennsylvania Posse' in the two-day National Open.

It would be nice if the team could get rid of the bad luck and start building for next year. This hasn't been a "Crowd Pleaser" year. I know Criag can do better with some good luck for a change.
