This had to be the worst track conditions I have ever been to. It felt like I was watching a drag race with curves, the drivers and fans deserve better I hope wilmot does better next year, the car count was good with all the Ira and Msa sprints, congrads to Mike Kertscher on the win.

Dirt is for racing, asphalt is for the parking lot.

That is all it was is a drag race. A few cars ran through the pack. In the IRA B main #79 had 2 right rear tires on. In the IRA A main the #83 had 2 left rears on. #79 git disqualified and I would hink and hope #83 gets DO also for that. Both are clearly against the rules and Goodyears contract of what tires the IRA needs to run.

Yes it was dusty but I thought the racing was pretty good. Gongratulations to Matt Vandervere and the 10V crew for 8th in the feature from around 17. That kid is getting good!

The track was terrrible for how much water we had in the area this week, probably the worst it's been all year. Dry slick in qualifying is unacceptable, after heats I can see but qualifying? Whoever prepared the track this year should stick to selling tickets!

Well if they were selling tickets tonight they would have not been too busy. Pretty thin crowd for a cold Saturday night. I thought 32 IRA and 30 MSA sprints in the house was a great turn out. I thought there was some good racing in both features with guys coming from the back. Congrats to Tim Haddy picking up the MSA win as it was good to see a new face in victory lane.

It was dry and dusty Friday night too. When you only get 8 street stocks for $500 to win you must be doing something wrong. Maybe they're trying to make Wilmot the new Hales Corners track we always heard about.

Does anybody remember the discrace that was Slow Motion Entertainment? Its the first year for the new management and everything out there has improved. Car counts are way up, the pits were packed last night. The track wasn't thr raciest but at least it didn't look like a plowed cornfield. Best of all the racing was over at a decent hour. Keep up the good work Wilmot I haven't forgot the discrace that was SLOW MOTION ENTERTAINMENT!

I agree with Repo, the track has been better since slow motion but last night was a little rediculous to be dry that early. I would say last night was the worst I seen it this year.

Correction should be made. It is the SECOND year under this regime, not the first. Can't use first year jitters as an excuse.

I hope that's not entirely true! I really enjoy them at Elko. Looked like they had pretty good crowds for the two nights I was there, so would hope they keep up the dirt program in the future.

I had planned to go to Olgivie (sp?), but rained out the weekend I planned to go and had another commitment the other date.

There's only about three tracks close enough to the Twin Cities to be really attractive plus Superior is always a good race, although a little distant. Other than the IRA and UMMS (360) there really isn't another good series within a two hour drive.

Well I wish I had stayed close to home for the Trailer races at MIS.

You can start with the ticket booth. No student pricing. over eleven is adult price.

I can overlook this for a great show. wrong

track was junk, racing very weak becuase of the track.

Can you say dusty. well it is a dirt track I guess. they did water once to keep the dust down for about 10 seconds.

lots of yellows for spins on the ice. and with no scoreboard that I could see I thought maybe the announcer would maybe let us no what lap we were on but not once during any restart.

glad to hear some things are better. I guess I just hit the bad ones.

I dunno what dumb ass you get your info from but the IRA is def not racing only in wisconsin next year. That would be horrible for promoting the IRA, Steve is a very good promoter...he would never schedule racing ONLY in Wisconsin and this is fact.

I call BULLSHIT, IRA has no plans of staying Wis! They have said for years they were going to cut out some of the traveling but never do, they have never said cut out all of the traveling.
