A buddy of mine has a 18 passenger bus that he fixed up into a party bus. He has said to me we should gather up a bunch of guys and do something. About a month ago I suggest we go to Eldora for the WoO. We/I have rounded up 16 guys, all are gearheads, and are going to Eldora friday nite. Only 2 of us have ever been to Eldora and only a couple others have even seen a sprint car race. Should be fun.

those guys are in for a treat....make sure they all have eye protection.....might need it....lol....lifes short,play hard

That is awesome, have a great time. They will enjoy the bar at the track! Should be a great night of racing. Just one day away!!!

Motorhead, do us all a favor and make sure you post a post race report. If half those dudes don't think it's the most exciting racing they've ever seen then they were too drunk! The other half will become regulars and think it was the best thing they've ever been to, I'm guessin'. Enjoy and live like it's your last time there....

I strongly suggest you get pit passes at the gates off of turn four. They are usually only a few bucks more at Eldora and walk down to the pits in the infield aropund 5:45. After they fire all of the monsters up to warm up the engines. Take all the newbies over next to the infield fence in turn 3 as soon as they start pushing cars onto the track for the first hot lap session.and watch the expression on there faces the first couple of times the cars go by at full speed. I promise it will be priceless.

What shoes said. People don't realize how fast they are going until they are pointing right at you about 4 feet away going 120. . . . Did the same thing to my wife and best friend, and they never miss an Eldora show now. . .I'll be there tomorrow, turn 3 . ..If I see a bunch of newbies I'll stop by. (we CAN tell who you are) lol

Wewill sit in the main grandstand. I usually sit about midway up behind the flagstand. With it being a friday and guys having to work we should just make it in time for hot laps. And at least 1 guy cant walk real far.

Eldora is an amazing sight to see (and hear) where ever you are sitting. Hope you and your friends have fun. Please post an after race update, just can't wait to hear how the experience was for them.

Be sure to check out the view from outside turn 3 beside the "Love Tunnel." It's one of my fave spots to watch at the Eldora, fastest part of the track. Also watch some of the racing from inside turn 1 beside the fence. Have fun!

I'll NEVER forget standing in turn 3 for the first time and having Sammy come flying in to the bottom at speed. I swear, I could have reached out and touched the car as he went by. The through pass that you can buy in turn 4 is the best deal going. I think it was like $5.

It was a great evening. I`ve seen better shows, but to the uninformed it was spectacular. They will be back.

The part that was bad was that a 1 division show took till midnite to run. If we hadnt had a great time that would have left a sour taste in their mouths.
