If you guys have been waiting for an excuse to get to Tulare to check out some amazing non-wing sprint car racing, the last points leg of the USAC West Coast 360 Series is an excellent opportunity to do so...and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Wes Gutierrez is hot, just coming off his first WC win of the season, which followed an amazing run in the previous race. Craig Stidham has been up front nearly all year long, and is still going strong late in the season and holds the points advantage with only one points race left. However, T.J. Smith is on fire, having a late-season string of sensational runs and has recently tasted victory. Davey Pombo is closing in on the title, just 26 points behind Stidham going into the championship finale October 2. This is going to be good.

And, as if that isn't enough, the purse for this race is a great one! Most of these guys (and girls) race for the glory, but a great payout makes it all that much more appealing...and enticing for some not-so-local teams to tow to Tulare October 2.

On the bill for the evening is the West Coast Modifieds, who always seem to make for an exciting race at the Thunderbowl. But with the extra cash on the line for those guys too, it's gonna get serious!

Come hang out with us...I promise you'll be glad you did!

P.S. If for no other reason, come check out Peter Murphy's new hot pink sprint car & uniform, which he and Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino have put together for this race to help the "Sprinting for the Cure" awareness drive for breast cancer. For those who can't make it up to Tulare on October 2, Lance has pictures of the car, which features honorary decals for victims of cancer on the hood. Come join Peter and Team Tarlton as they race for a great cause!
