If true, hopefully Kraig will have a better crew than this year or there results won't be better than Lasoski's.

It is true that the Dude will not be in the car next year and Kraig is at the top of the list. So if you fire the driver what does that say about the crew??

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I thought I'd point out that firing the driver instead of the crew doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Case in point: Stan Shoff told a story of his early owner/driver relationship with Frankie Kerr (this is paraphrased from memory so if it's not 100% accurate, don't nail me). We all know that those two were together for an extremely long period of time in the '90s...they even retired from sprint cars together. But early on, Frankie was going to quit the ride because it wasn't going as well as he wanted it to. Up until this point, Stan had fired several drivers including Jeff Gordon but still had the same head wrench. When Frankie told Stan he was going to quit, Stan decided to fire the head wrench instead.
My point is...sometimes it's the driver, sometimes it's the crew. But I guess you don't necessarily know for sure until you change one and see if anything is different.

Also if Casey's is taken over by Seven Eleven what does that do. That seems to be a definite.
