Looks like we'll have a 1st time winner of the title and the first new champion in 20 years. Greg Hodnett (5515pts) leads Brian Montieth (5315pts) and Chad Layton (5025pts). Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease, Don Kreitz Jr. and Todd Shaffer combined have accounted for all the Grove Titles since 1990. Montieth has already sewn up the Lincoln 410 Title and Layton has already sewn up the Port Royal 410 Title. Rahmer (4270pts) is 6th in Grove standings despite his opening day victory lane pledge that he would win the title again. Kreitz (4260pts) is 7th, Dewease (4080pts) is 8th. Six more points races left in the Grove season with feature winners awarded 300 points. Time for the past champs to pull a rabbit out of their hat or we will have a new first time champ....and the first new winner in two decades.

Spanking the Outlaws for another $50g would be a nice way to cap off a championship season.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
