The September 20 issue inside front cover has a Chevy add showing a Chevy
towing a sprint car on an open trailer. Looks like Steve's car, a little goofy cause
has front wing and no top wing.

My buddy bought a new Chevy pickup and that black part of the front bumper, right below the painted bumper can be wet-sanded, primed and painted to match the color of the bumper/pickup. Looks damned good that way----not sure why they don't do that with all their trucks, like they do with the Avalanches---front all the same color. Cost him $197 and has been on for over a year in bad bug country, lots of high pressure hose machine washes and the paint is still perfect. PS someone at GM probably caught hell for this picture, as the front wing on the sprinter looks kind of silly, at least to those who know about sprint cars.

well the front wing has the Chevy logo on it, I don't believe the top wing does....so why show Bass Pro if you are selling Chevy's?

As far as putting a sprint car in the ad with a bow-tie logo on it, they would of had more impact if they would have used Levi Jones' car from correct angle. The logo on that car is much larger than what's on the wing.

Steve's car has Bass Pro on both wings.

As I recall most winged cars hauled on open trailers back in the day always took the top wing off and hauled it the pickup bed. I may be wrong though, my wife is always telling me I'm wrong.

I could really care less but I guess I'll chime in...For whatever reason they decided to do this at least it's cool there is a Sprint car in the ad! As far as the top wing having a different sponsor on it goes, I'm sure they could have re-wrapped one and/or I'm sure Chevy has it in their budget to photoshop a Chevy emblem onto a wing panel for an ad! i doubt with the money they spend on that team their last option was to remove it for sticker purposes! It's Chevrolet for christ sake
do it in the dirt
