Got this off the Indiana open wheel board.

"We are very excited to announce that the 1000cc and 1200cc Mini Sprints are to run NON-WING at the Tulsa Shootout. They are using the A.M.S.A.rules with some modification. Being the zx12 is being aloud and since we are taking off the wings. 25 lbs will come off of the A.M.S.A. weights. They will be: stock, bore and stroke on gas with driver is 875lbs. stock, bore and stroke on alcohol with driver will be 945 lbs. anything built up to 1205 and the zx12 will be 1015 lbs with driver. This is NOT a A.M.S.A. sanction race. Jerry and Mert Tague is only helping to promote this event. We are asking all associations in the U.S.A. and Canada to attend this event and pass the word about the Tulsa Shootout. If this event with the Mini Sprints is a success this could be a annual event in the following years. For more information and entry fee and form it is on the Tulsa Shoot out site. or you can call Jerry Tague (765) 589-3045. "

In the early 90's 1200's were around in Texas and Oklahoma. Texas and quite a few of them around the DFW area.
