I had to make a trip into town to go to Wallymart and as Mother Nature would have it the hardest rain was AT the fairgrounds as I passed. By the time I got to Wallymart it was a torrential downpour - haven't seen it rain that hard since Tuesday Belleville - and it continued while I was in the store. Had to go to Target' because Wallymart didn't have what I needed through more heavy rain only to find out they didn't have it either. By the time I headed back towards home there was localized flooding all around the streets surrounding the fairgrounds - Skyway, Fair, E. 20th, and MLK. The intersection of Skyway and MLK was the worst continuing on toward Fair. I hope all the campers are OK and hope that this is it for the rest of the week for you guys. I live 7 miles southwest of the track and we got rain but NOTHING like you guys did. Be interesting to see the rainfall totals from that area.

I went through the area of Skyway and Fair about 8 pm and the standing water in the street was over the curbs (like the storm drain was stopped up).
The Enterprise-Record weather station (corner of Skyway and MLK within 1/4 mi. of the track)) shows 0.52 in. of rain starting at 6:45 p and still raining at the rate of 0.12 in./hr at 9:10. Hope it stops soon so the drainage and drying can begin!

My buddys rain gauge not far from the track measured 1 1/4 inches of rain for the evening!
