I was wondering what is the best way to show a sponsor that you support them for supporting racing or a favorite driver?
For example. Shane Stewart and Rockstar. I tried my first Rockstar when i found out they were going to sponsor him for this year. I found a couple of flavors i like and now i buy just Rockstar (energy drinks). BUT they don't know i buy them because of Shane. I have Emailed them and told them. I have "spammed" their facebook page when he wins. What do you fans do to support your drivers sponsors?
On a side note i don't know if it would help but i thought maybe it would help Shane and Paul if we saved the tabs from all the drinks to kinda show our support? Is that stupid? With $ being hard to come by in this sport i just want to do what we fans can to keep it here.

Write a personal letter to...VP of marketing.
(that sponsorship COULD be coming from a local distributor..and not the corporate office. Just check first.

I think Leon is right. Sadly, there are only a few people in any single company that care if they are selling more... the guy (or gal) that made the decision to sponsor driver X, and the people that they answer to. We constantly run into Marketing Directors that love racing, love the plan, love the idea, on and on, but their boss doesn't know anything about racing and doesn't care to know so we don't get paid. If you really want to make an impression write a letter to the Pres/CEO of Rockstar (or their parent company if there is one). Regardless of corporate Vs. regional money, a letter showing appreciation to the Person in charge can ONLY help.
