Who is that in the 50x? Jeff Griffin? Is the "Gas Man" around? Related to Richard Griffin?
Ron Chaffin is the best owner and sure looks like he is giving another "Griffin" a ride.

If I remember correctly that same guy ran this race last year in a 50x car, which i don't believe is a Chaffin owned car(possible typo).I'm pretty sure the guy is from Nor.Cal and is no relation to Richard.

Griffin (50x) ran into some trouble with the officials last year and may have been disqualified. I think it had something to do with methanol on a red or yellow. The sprint car looks very similar to the Chaffin #50 - don't know about this year's version though. I was wondering about the Tiner/Roth mixup. Thanks for clearing that up. Hope we have video tonight.

This kid bought a used car last year from Ron Chaffin, they sold the car with two tanks and the kid put the small tail tank on last year and ran out of fuel.as I understand it. He was warned about running out of fuel.
