Saldana - hands down, and the season is not over. I see a few more wins yet. They are fast. Shane Stewart would be my closest 2nd. Schatz has been very very warm the past month but 2nd place over and over won't do it and coming from 10th or 20th won't get you wins very often. I have to think the accident at Williams Grove subconsiously played with his mind, maybe not. Can't see how it was the tires. Some may wish it were the tires. But with Joey, I still can't get out of my mind his comments after the finals last year when on national tv after the race he said when talking about his X number of wins, whatever it was, a lot anyway, "even Donny Schatz hasn't ever done that". Sounded bad but maybe it was a compliment, but sounded ??. JMHO
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

With his All Star win at Attica tonight, Shaffer now has 18 wins on the season!

I would have to say Jason Johnson or Shane Stewart.
This is the first year for Jason Johnson Racing (JJR) and being a car owner and driver isn't easy. He has dominated ASCS regional races and is currently leading the ASCS National Tour standings. Jason ran 3rd at 360 nationals this year! Oh, and he went and raced a 410 for the Knoxville Nationals. Just to make the A Main is a huge deal but he finished in the top 10 bringing it home 9th!
Shane Stewart has had another great year with 10 wins on the season! His biggest win being the 360 Nationals!!! He then hopped into the 410 and won his prelim nite! Again making the A Main is a huge deal but to end up on the podium is historical! He beat some of the best in the world and ended up 3rd place! Plus he is only 90 points behind in the ASCS National Tour standings.
It's a toss up but I would probably have to side with Shane Stewart as driver of the year.
I'd rather be in Knoxville.

Jason Johnson gets my vote, close second to Shane Stewart though.
