North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Missouri still have weekly racing at their state fairgrounds. North Dakota even runs on Sunday nights. Are there any other state fairgrounds running weekly shows anymore.

Albeit there are some tracks that may run at so called state fairgrounds, but these are not the main state fairgrounds of a state.

Kansas use to have the Topeka State Fair and the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.

Oklahoma use to have what was called the Muskogee State Fair, Tulsa State Fair and the Oklahoma State Fair.

Nebraska completely moved their fairgrounds to Grand Island. I don't believe the new fairgrounds includes a race track.

Warren, the grounds where the famed track once stood is a sad site. I sneeked through the fence and walked out on the front straight, I was overcome with the smell of death. It smelled exactly like that of a person that had passed, the smell was so strong I had to throw-up.

The sticker you posted is what I placed on the front door of the Oklahoma State Fair Boards office. Don't imagine it was there for very long, but they got the message.

Some of you are viewers of Oklahoma Tidbits also, but I thought I would add this to this post.

Oklahoma State Fairgrounds Speedway Memorial T-Shirts.

"We are thinking about having T-Shirts made by Arizona Sport Shirts, or Action Sports Wear. We would like to know how many would be interested in buying them.

Please post your quanity and sizes so we can get an idea of how many to order."

Thank you, Allen

Hopefully a group shot of the famous cars from the beginning to the end.

Allen has had very tough two years in regards to historic facilities.

His childhood ties are between Manzanita, AND OkC. For many of us, it sucks what happened in OkC. But imagine it happening twice.
