Since he has a 2 car late model team I was just wondering if he would want to start a World of Outlaw Sprint car team?

Doubtful...Though Clint enjoys watching sprints, he has deep roots in Modifieds and even keeps one ready to race in his shop.

I believe he also has a Dirt Late Model team. His short track career had NOTHING to do with Sprint Cars, so let's not get 100 people on here whining "Why doesn't Clint Bowyer have a WoO Sprint Car team?"

August Busch equals Anheuser Busch beer empire, parent company of Budweiser. I would guess the poster was referring to Budwesier's KKR sponsorship.

I do believe that ole Clint still owns a Hyper 600 Micro Sprint. So maybe at one point he did have sprint car aspirations!

Why should or would he? He is into mods and LM's. On a side note I always have to laugh at the two sides people draw when it comes to nascar drivers and their roots. On one hand people say JG doesnt give back to his roots. On the other hand people bash Tony for ruining sprint car racing with all of his nascar money.

Clint's late model team is well known, but you will see a couple of Clint Bowyer Racing decals on a couple of modifeds at his old home track in Kansas City.(Lakeside Speedway) One of the drivers helped him when he was running at the track, the other guy is from his home town.

clint and kasey have been spending alot of time together this summer, saw them getting groceries today and thought about asking them, but decided they looked like they were getting ready for a week of fun and most likely would not like to talk racing, perhaps might see them later this week and buy them a bud and tell them to read this thread

Heard he's in town today Scott, was in studio with a radio station this morning amoung others Im sure... People of this board may not believe or understand something straight from the horses mouth, but I'm willing to listen  There was a few rumors a few yrs back of him forming one with Lasoski (who knows if it was true, or if they talked about it amd couldnt find a sponsor etc...) and obviously that never happened.

Clint told me today he is not interested in owning a sprint car team, in fact he told me he's not a big fan of sprint car racing, he said "there isn't enough passing in the WoO". He is a door banger to the bone!!
