Time to put tidbits to work to try to help promote these tracks the reason as to why this site first came about 12 years ago. Where should I go this weekend?

Never been to the big topless late model show at Batesville and that is this Friday and Saturday night. Heard it is the bomb!

Which of the tracks mentioned above should I visit this weekend? Vote here and help me make that decision....

Thanks

I'd recommend Lawton but I have been there for two OCRS races this year and it looked very similar to that freight that comes right through the middle of Norman several times a day. The only time I saw someone on the rim, they were heading for the pits. That place could be a lot of fun for sprint cars if it had a top shelf.

Yeah I dont know what happened, both times the OCRS was there it was on the bottom, but 2 weeks ago Sellers and Owens were at the top the entire feature right on the wall. So it comes and it goes I guess. I hope there is a top this weekend.

Lawton has been putting on some pretty good shows lately. I'm not just saying that because I race there either. If I were a fan I think I would have to be pleased with the racing here lately. Lots of cars and even B features, Lawton hasn't had B features nightly in a long time.

As a sprint car fan, the races I've seen there this year haven't been much of a motivation to go back. I've actually been to three, but the third was the rut-fest for the Sooner Region. There had been a ton of rain before that one so the conditions were probably unavoidable.

I will agree with that the rutfest was horrible. I couldn't stay in them I kept going sideways across them, and just had a long night. The mods and sport mods seem to be the "bread and butter" classes out there. The sprint shows are definitely alot better this year. I think that we can probably credit that to the loss of the State Fair Speedway. I am comparing the quality of shows to what I have seen out there the past couple of years. To me this year seems to be considerably better than the past few years. I love dirt track racing though so if its dirt track racing i'll watch it whether it is a terrible show or not.

$1041 to win at Outlaw in the modifieds. Always a good show, Womack takes the extra steps to make it fun on both sides of the front straight fence.
