I ate there twice over the week+ I was there. Very good BBQ at reasonable prices. I had a huge pulled pork sammich one day and the "360 combo" (sammich, 2 sides and a drink) another day and both were excellent.

I was very impressed, it was quite a good place to get a meal. I chuckled when the girl at the counter called my 305 combo a 350, and then asked me (while wearing my Sammy Swindell shirt and hat) if I was here for the races, and then telling me she could tell I was here for the races because of my shirt. A bit silly, but great food.

I have to say the 1/2 rack of ribs had good flavor and the sauce was awsome but the ribs were a little dry/tough. Other than that, the help was friendly, clean place, great smell. I definately will go back for more.

Place was awesome!!!!! Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Really glad to see the picture of Jesse Hockett on the wall. Prices were kinda expensive but everything else made up for it. I'm not sure if many people realized this but they had air vents above the "bar" section that were beginning to get covered with sprint car stikkers! I thought that was an awesome touch to the place. I even put 1 up myself! They had great rules, too. They said you can put up any stikker as long as it was family safe and it didn't cover up anybody else's stikker! Awesome place!!! Will be bakk next year!!
I'd rather be in Knoxville.

We were the t-shirt trailer parked in front of the building. I thought it was great BBQ and reasonable in price. I ate there several times over the week. The owners did an excellent job on the decor, looked very nice. And they kept it clean. At the end of the night the old Subway would be trashed. Plus Steve and Joanie, the owners were great people to work with. Steve's parents were helping all week and I never met a nicer couple.
