I'm not starting trouble but I have a bit of a different take on this...
I don't think the 1 and the 63 are truly WoO. They race a lot of WoO but I would consider them "true outlaws." Also, I would consider Madsen in that group as well.. He runs a true outlaw schedule.
The 57 and 41 should be grouped ASCS regulars.
The Posse will claim the 83 but he does most of his racing in the Ohio/All Star area so I agee with putting him in that group.
Its good to see the field wasn't dominated by WoO. The locals had a great showing.
I have to think Steve would have won if his motor hadn't expired (but you can say that same type of thing about the other guys as well).

Dirthawk -- I've been to three WoO events this year, and followed a lot of their other stops. I think you nailed it.

Thanks for the breakdown. Qualifying seemed to be really more a matter of luck this year than in the past. Can't believe it has been 20 years since a non-WOO driver won, but glad to see it happen. Also agree that Davey Heskin was the biggest suprise of the field, although Josh Schneiderman could also fit into that category. I'm a big Davey Heskin fan, although I don't get to see him race that often. He's had a ton of bad luck this year. It all came back for him this week. He may have made the A on qualifying night because three cars ahead of him in his heat tangled, but he earned his spot in the Sat. A. And he really earned his finish. Drove from 16th to 10th in the first 25, fell back to 15th early in the second 25 and drove back up to 8th.

josh schnidermen and davey heskin would be equally the biggest suprise, worst underachiver Jason Meyers, but i guess he didnt really underachieve just kind of stepped on his D**k

I'm prettty sure the 63 of Kemenah has run the entire WoO schedule to this point. The 50th was represensted from all regions and sanctions.

I would have to agree with checkered48. Kemenah is running the full Outlaw schedule. So I think that makes him an "Outlaw".

I am typing this slowly so Cubic can read it .... Schaffer is not a posse member according to Allan Holland, Kevin Eckert and Tim himself - I'd say that pretty much sums it up with authority. He "is" from "Western PA" but the car and his racing are based in Ohio - not PA ... nice try posse fans but ... try again ...

He didn't say Shaffer is Posse, he just stated he is from Pennsylvania...which is true.

63 has attended every WoO race. Sammy is more Outlaw than anything else. I think Dirthawk's analysis is fair.

I thought Kemenah picked up the tour late. Sorry, my bad. Moving on...

Erin Crocker has been a Knoxville regular this year. Great job finding her way to the A after a tough time this season. That girl can drive, 2 National A mains is not a fluke.
Also just like to point out that Madsen and Dollansky were both Knoxville regulars for many years. We're proud of all our past and present regulars.

FYI - the ASCS is NOT a 410 division, therefore, the 57 & 41 were not running in ASCS cars.

"finding her way to the A" is a perfect statement. I dont think she passed more than a car or two either night. Just didnt wreck out and inherited many positions.

Good for Erin to make the A after really not being very good at all at Knoxville. Funny you get rid of one crew chief and insert another and you start running well. If you didn't know any better after the Saturday night B, you would have thought Schniderman WON the nationals he crew was so happy. That's really awesome after the year the family has had with father Bart battling (and beating) Cancer. Heskin was the surprise of the Nationals (besides Tim winning it). He has had rotten luck all season at Knoxville and to finish eighth in the main was amazing.
