Anyone else get in on that action?? WOW...did go to all 50 but that has to be a first...she was getting violated pretty good, and always kept that same surprised look on her face. Anyone snap a pic of that stuff??

Another great example of the kind of shit that makes me wish I could fix stupid. I know I shouldn't even post on these stupid message boards where people have no respect for anyone else. But here's my rant...Sprint Car Racing should be a family sport and the Knoxville Nationals should be a family event. A lot of people do a lot of hard work to make it friendly to all ages. If this is the kind of crap going on in the grandstand, what kind of message does that send to the future fans of our sport.

Just wait. In just a few more years it will be legal in Cali to marry your 'blow-up" babe!

I agree, its just ridiculous. I was next to the guy in the posted video and wasn't happy about it. Plus, there were two little kids
right behind me... its bad enough that they have to be exposed to all the drunks and cussing, but this goes way over the line....real great message that they were sent.

I don't have kids or anything but it wouldn't be a bad idea to have an alcohol family section at the track. Package the tickets with hot dogs and sodas or something for a better value. The Minnesota Twins do this at their new ballpark and it's not a bad idea and it's apparently pretty popular.

an alcohol family section at the track
Then you would have to have a "drunk and cuss" section!

frenchy is correct.
If you REALLY want this "family friendly" atmosphere - there would be sections where alcohol is allowed and sections where its not.
I see a lot less issue with a stupid doll than with redneck beligerance that goes on at the majority of dirt tracks throughout the nation on a weekly basis. Although I guess they really could be one in the same tho lol
From taking my nephew (now 11) to a lot of races since he was 3 or 4 - a freakin blow up doll pales in comparison to the drunk redneck(s) sittin in nearby vicinity beligerantly cussing and acting the part.
jmo - but there is a reason that this sport has the reputation it does - and its not totally without merit either.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

You guys that were offended by the blowup doll shouldn't bother going to the Chili Bowl. Those things have been common place in the stands at that race for years and I laughed so much when I first saw one being thrown around the crowd. Like OKCFan is saying, sometimes you have to expect a little rowdiness at the races.

They have sections I and J as family sections EXCEPT during the 410 Nationals......Guess the beer money is more valuable than family fun.................

I have encountered the drinkin' and cussin' kind who were not rednecks.
I know, that is hard to believe!
A true redneck would NOT be throwing an inflated doll around. It would be his cousin!

Rowdiness at the races is different in my opinion than a blowup doll being violated, which shows little boys that it's OK to treat women as purely a sexual object and shows little girls that they can't do anything about the way they might be treated. I don't love the bikini contest and the wet T-shirt contest by any means, but at least they are tucked away at places where you know kids should not go. To have something like this right out in the grandstand is purely ridiculous. As for the no alcohol section, yes, Knoxville has had one for years. It's too hard to make it work at the Nationals when the grandstand is full. As I said, a lot of people go to a lot of hard work to make the Nationals family friendly. Kids, both boys and girls, are the future of our sport and if we keep talking about how sad it is that grandstands aren't full anymore on a weekly basis...we better start looking at what kind of messages we are sending.
