I mean are they the same as the street stock nationals in the past? I guess what I really want to know is are the same guys with the same cars going to be running in it this year? Why is the "stock car nationals" now?" Does a guy with a factory stock stand a chance at making the race, let alone winning it?

I realize this is Ada. Is that the only reason for the name change? Can anyone answer my question(s)? I am considering going but I know I have little chance if the same "pro-stock" type cars show up.

As I read this, it is pretty much open on engine rules! To me it reads a street stock engine, stock mount fuel pump but no alcohol! I may be wrong & if I am then someone can correct me.

Also must have stock rear suspension with stock upper links! Factory stock with street stock motor????

I ta;ked to Mark Mullens last night at Enid. He said the rules have been opened up! Bert, Brinns, Falcons must add 50 lbs to the front of car. Alcohol or gas, Stock four link, Cast Iron Engine no Limits! But, you could lose it for a thousand bucks! If your on the top 5.

OK I have gotten my questions answered. If you have a factory stock, running at just about any track with normal factory rules, you will not be able to compete in this race (not literally, just you will be way under-classed). It is funny that the promo video appears to be just about all "factory stock" type cars.
