So far, Racing is on. Delayed but still on.
Sounds like they are really trying to avoid a day show.

honestly you might as well flip a coin. It's Iowa, it could suddenly be 100 and no rain or we could get 5 inches of rain.

If you want to go by weather.com it is moving east and should be clear after that. Pretty nasty east of that though.

Copied from Knoville Raceways Results Page.
7:33 p.m. update. It hasn't really rained in a while but there is a big blob of rain just to our south. Cars are filling the infield. Trucks are on the track hoping to run it in enough to salvage it in case it rains again. But the track is really wet. Infield officials are calling for Chris Dunkin to bring in a blade to work on the bottom of the frontstretch by victory lane where it always gets way wet. Still iffy as to whether weather will cooperate with us tonight, but we're still trying hard. Gonna be a long while yet before anything happens as long as we stay dry.

I was gonna say it earlier that based on the radar you guys in Knoxville are toast. Let the drinking begin! This Fother Mucking weather is making me agree with my wife on her insistence that we not move any further east than California. The storm that rolled through Belleville last Tuesday night almost made me find religion :-).

Don't risk a front running car in a wreck with no time to rebuild it before tonight would be my guess
Day show not good race anyway. Hard to stop the frieght train on a day track
