Lone Star Speedway’s SUPR/ASCS Patriot Day Tribute

If you’re looking for a place to commemorate Patriot Day, Lone Star Speedway has a complete program of O’Reilly SUPR Late Models, ASCS Lone Star region Sprint Cars, impressive fireworks display, Factory Stocks and much more; all at the high banked ½ mile speed plant on Saturday, September 11th.

A full field of O’Reilly SUPR Late Models will be on hand, and you can expect to see drivers such as Ray Moore, Robert Litton, Jeff Chandler, Kyle Cummings, Robbie Stuart, Kenny Merchant and many more battle it out.

This is the final ASCS Lone Star region sprint race of the 2010 racing season. Many of your favorite sprint drivers are expected, such as Eric Baldaccini, Claud Estes, Justin Melton, Preston Peebles II, Martin Edwards, John Ricketts, Brandon Corn, Kolt Walker and a host of others.

A large fireworks display, live music featuring Leo Hull and the Texas Blues Machine will be a part of this Patriot Day Tribute at Lone Star Speedway.

In addition to the ASCS Lone Star region Sprint Cars and O’Reilly SUPR Late Models, a complete program of Factory Stocks will compete for $300 to win. The complete Factory Stock purse and rules are posted at the track website.

Here are some quick facts for the event:

-Gates open at 4:30pm, Hot Laps at 6:45pm and racing at 7:30pm.
-General Admission $15
-Kids 6-12 (General Admission price only) $8
-Under 5 free with adult admission
-Military (present ID) and Senior Citizens (Gen. Admission seating, 65+) are $10
-All Reserved Section Seats are $18 for All Ages
-All Pit Passes $30
-No outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside, a full selection of economical food concessions, including beer, are available.

The SUPR Late Models, ASCS Lone Star Region Sprint Cars and Factory Stocks are all set to take battle at LoneStar Speedway this Saturday night. A solid field of teams are expected to take battle on the high banked clay 1/2 mile oval just west of Kilgore Texas.

The weather is looking decent at this point too. Here's the latest NOAA forecast, as of Tuesday morning:

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 94.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Everything is shaping up for an exciting night of racing at LoneStar Speedway on Saturday, September 11th, and we hope you can join in on the action.
