Gotta give a shout out to Dave Blaney! Thanks for coming back and best of luck putting the 55x in the show. After the last couple of showings with the WoO, I really didn't think he would be top 40 in points. Some pretty big time teams below him.

Terry is hurt and everyone can claim they have drivers doing good. Even the All-Stars who only have 5 drivers

Haha, Fred has been slow in PA lately, so nobody here expected much out there for sure. Hell, he didn't qualify for a weekly Knoxville show when he was out for the Hall of Fame induction. I don't, however, think it's time to sleep on him just yet. Everytime the fans start saying Rahmer is washed up and done in PA, he pulls it back together and 2-3 months later everyone's booing him for winning everything in sight again. Gettin up there in age, but I don't think it's over just yet, don't forget what happened in May after everyone had already written him off for the night....

Oh, and I wanted to mention, congrats to the Knoxville regulars, they are put on a good showing. Contrary to belief, us in PA want all the locals to do good (and everyone to be safe). Hopefully those guys can hold it together and collect some of the big purse money available this weekend to help carry them through the rest of the season.

There are pictures of Terry from the FRC and UC in a golf cart with a cast or brace on and crutches.
Yup it sucks, he is the most deserving of any driver who has not won the Nat's, it would be way cool to see him become the first Iowan to win it.

That's for sure. Terry has given some real good runs at Nationals past. He is a one of many who hasn't won it who deserves it. It sure would be sweet to see Terry be the first Iowan to win. Terry get well soon and hope you get back on the track, see ya at Knoxville.

Absolutely correct... would anyone really be that suprised if he dominated the Open? I'm certainly not a fan, but he can drive and will be back on top when everyone thinks he is done. I thought he was toast about five years ago... I'm pretty sure he's won a race or two since then. In fact, one of his best all time performances was earlier this year.

Latsh -
I have to say I've appreciated your level-headed perspective on many topics, including the ridiculous PA vs the world debates.
As a sprint car fan who gets to claim Knoxville as my local track, I certainly root for our local guys and am proud when they do well (this has been a particularly good Nationals so far).
The great thing about the Nationals is seeing drivers and teams from around the country competing together. As a fan, it's a privilege to watch the best in the business no matter where they're from...and PA certainly has some of the best.
