Yes, Meyers has been making a career out of chopping guys who have been faster and trying to pass him. But I have yet to see someone not hammer the brakes and give him what he deserves, though you'd then have two wrecked cars, so drivers continue to hammer the brakes.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

'DOH! The difference between last night and the year he got caught with illegal shocks at the Trophy Cup is that no amount of whining, kicking, screeming, or begging will get the DQ reversed. He also can't blame this one on Tyler Walker.

I love threads like this.
I know how this would have been settled in the 'old days" but that would turn to many people off!

Defnitely, but come on, how do you not go over the scales? He did not know his track position? I race and we scale the top five cars and anytime I finish 6th I still go over the scales in case someone else is too light. Well maybe he brain farted or their was another issue.

Yes, it was the 2006 Trophy Cup. Jason still had his driver adjustable shocks on the car, and apparently they were not allowed. I was in the pits after the main event, at Jason's pit, and overheard all the ranting and raving. Several crews were complaining to Mike Andrietta (sp) about the shocks. Mike said they were not allowed and it said so in the rule book. But he couldn't't produce a rule book to prove his point, which I found odd. But, rule book or no, his ruling stood, disqualified!

No it didn't. He was given a pass which I did not agree with but Dave had his reasons and you gotta respect his decisions because he has done more than a few things right over the past 16 years.

This may be a little far fetched, but is it possible after the fact he had 2nd thoughts and knowingly gave the spot to Madsen?

I really didn't think so either vanh, but it's still hard to believe he made that big of a screw up at the nationals,it's not like this is his first rodeo.

Not to mention that typically with our Raceceivers they routinely call off the numbers of the cars that are to go to the scale. Maybe he didn't hear that but its a good reminder to go to the scale.

May be on to something. Seriously doubt Madsen had an agenda like that, but Meyers clearly darted off the track and on the infield in turn one to avoid more on-confrontation with Madsen. Sure possible Meyers was rattled and went to his pit in the aftermath.
