some things never change. He is slower than someone so he just chomps them off. Go figure. One of these days someone will get tired of it.

Bunch of cry babies, A kid that is taking it to the big boys without nascar money being poored in and that is just racing, Madsen did not have a problem with the move, saying he would have done the same thing. You 11,15,9 fans now they would have done the same thing and have done it many times. So quit being a big baby about a guy trying to win the nationals.

I saw him do it at a regular show at Sedalia, Burlington, and I-55. Those weren't as big as Nationals. and people like Schatz and Pittman can tell you i wasn't seeing things. and you know what? when the 14 chopped off the 15 in Sedalia the 15 raced him clean and passed him and still blew his doors off. That was after the 14 knocked him into the inside wall.

We could go all night long on how the 15 has run guys into the walls, there is no love lose between the 15 and 14. they all do it and get away with it. that is just dirt racing.

I should not waste my time with this, but Jason Meyers is not the only driver that has shut the door to protect his position. Madsen would have done the same thing. They all have done it, even your boy. It is people like you that are ignorant and immature that ruin these boards. I have my favorite drivers and Jason Meyers is one of them, but I don't understand fans like you. Did Jason make a mistake by not going to the scales, sure he did, but they all make mistakes. I would bet you could do much better.

joey saldana screwed himself on a qualifying night at the trophy cup a few years back by not going to the scales. it happens. let's see, a little aggressive driving at the flag to win a big race and also to get a transfer to try to qualify for the biggest race of the year........ we normally call that hard racing. this ain't the IRL. heck the sprint car drivers are getting soft, they used to put each other in the stands like the nascar guys are doing now! some people here must be lost F1 fans.

if the 14 was so slow, why didn't madsen just pass him the 3 or 4 times he had a clear shot at it? i was only listening but i heard madsen got into the 14 a couple of times and the 14 got tired of it. so if madsen got into the 14 a couple of times, even due to hard racing, maybe the 14 thought he needed to shut him down before madsen took him or them out. just a thought. do you have full side nerfs on that arm chair you race from?

My view on Knoxville Live just looked like hard nosed Nationals racing. No doubt Meyers cut Madsen off twice, but it's been done at the nationals before and it will happen again before the weekend is over. Can't really speak for Meyers doing this on a regular basis; I don't get to see him every night and the audio can be misleading... just like tonight as I didn't see 3-4 clear shots for Madsen to pass Meyers. $150,000 brings out the wild side in all of them.

Madsen getting into Jason would be an in accurate description. I'm sure adrenaline was high and Kerry admittedly said he would do the same as would many.
Very fun to watch Jason Johnson run to 12 in 1 lap not to mention Shaffer and of course Madsen.
Great night of racing.

lol at Jason Johnson comment. I counted each pace lap to prove myself wrong of what I was seeing! Something must have clogged everything up down the backstretch on the opening lap. Looked like it on the Live feed, but couldn't tell as the camera whipped back to the leaders before the accident. Congrats to JJ... best of the ASCS represented well tonight.

It amazes me that there are so many people on this forum that talk so much s--t about a certian driver(s) but yet dont drive themselves. Last time i checked you nor anyone else drives the #14 car but JASON MEYERS or the #3k of Kerry Madsen. They do what they do because they love but also to put food on the table for there families. If you dont like how they drive dont watch or even better If you think you can do better get out your checkbook and start driving for your self. He might have made a questionable move or maybe not but let that be up to the offcials not you or anyone else cause that is the officials job. So heres just a suggestion but why dont everyone that thinks there a superstar backseat driver put up or shut up. Stop giving this fine sport of ours that is hard enough to keep going a black eye.

I could not agree more. I am a Jason Meyers fan and the question I do not understand is why didn't he go over the scales? Anyone?

Defnitely, but come on, how do you not go over the scales? He did not know his track position? I race and we scale the top five cars and anytime I finish 6th I still go over the scales in case someone else is too light. Well maybe he brain farted or their was another issue.
