I hope everyone is going to check out this year's Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway! It starts tomorrow night and it's a thrilling 2-day show. I was at last year's race and it was wild an exciting so I'm sure this weekend's event will be even better! Joey Saldana took the Ironman title last year so everyone else is going to be fighting to take this year's title for their own!
So is Joey Saldana going to take it again this year? If not, who do you think will win it?
More importantly... Who's going to be there to see this 2 day show go down!?

this show should be in late sept. then It would be a must see but instead myself and thousand other sprint fans will be at knoxville

It's a big show, nice little tune up for the Nationals. I think it draws a better crowd than the 360 Nats. Not a bad point though, if it were a standalone race, it would probably be a bigger deal.

I think it works out nicely for those that don't want to go to the 360 nats. I usually go to Knoxville but this year I opted for the IronMan. Should be a great show!

I'll be curious to see how the Goodyear tires hold up for a 55 lap feature race
And especially at the Knoxville Nationals Saturday night 50 lap A Main.

Ill be there with my bright red biker shorts on and I pray it is not hot because the shorts might bleed off then Ill have pink balls and wishing I would have worn Blue!

I agree that Shatz is a doughnut, if not worse lol. I would of used harsher terms than doughnut, but in this forum it works just fine.

Don't forget, if you're not able to be at the Ironman this weekend, you can still watch it via Cybercast at DIRTVision.com.
Also, on Saturday, before you head to the track for the 55-lapper, check out the 2-hour special Kings Royal coverage on SPEED at 4 p.m. Eastern/3 p.m. Central. Make a day of it, watch the Kings Royal on SPEED then, if you can't make it to I-55 for the race, tune into DIRTVision to watch the Ironman 55 Cybercast.
