Loading and getting pics for here soon as I can.
The frames he is building are very close to the Nance frames (single-rail) of the early 70's.

Any length bar tubes you want in the back, and he is going with straight tubes up high instead on the x brace.
If you will recall, these cars were bodied much like this

As much as I've been pulling and replacing rearends lately, I can really appreciate the back end of this frame. Looks very easy to get the quick change in and out. Really dig the belly tubes too.

What's the height of the rear hoop from the ground?
What's the width?

I never heard why the car was called the Tijuana Taxi? In the past the family has actually e-mailed me.

I know that at one time the car was taxi cab yellow. Kinda wonder which came first, name or the paint?

Did Scott Carson drive this car and did Shane turn it into his #112 modified? I think that the first time that I saw this car that Pat Patterson was driving.

This car came out of Amarillo. Yes, it becames Shanes 112.
Patterson had a legit Edmunds, and then went to a George Bignotti copy.

The Edmunds #106 was owned by Robert B. Brown in Wichita Falls and was destroyed at OKC in the late part of the 1970 season. Pat recovered and had a new #106 Bignotti designed super built in 1972. The car is being restored by Bobby Marshall in Wichita Falls.
