It is a good thing.
Not sure if it is "medical" or ?????? but at least it is a token for the driver.
I like the idea.

First off, it amazes me people are too lazy to look up info themselves, but instead, just ask the question on a message board. This info I found, didnt even take 5 minutes to find. But no, lets post a message and hope I get an answer in a day. Yeah, that makes sense.
But anyways, anyone can look this up in the rule book found on the Outlaw site. Here is the relevant info in section 2.4 (Medical Exemption)...
A.) Any Platinum Member Driver that is injured in a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event and unable to compete as a result, that team will be granted a medical exemption.
c.) Platinum member drivers will receive 75 (show-up) points per each event until the driver is able to resume his/her driving duties.

Needs to attend the "Cubic Calmness Clinic" for a weekend!

Maybe he can help me.
I been tryin' to find the rule about Donny.
If he give them the "working red high sign" so he can have a Dunkin, do they deduct any points?
Also, the Danny rule. When the race is be televised/taped is Danny penalized after the third or fourth wink?
Thanks for your help with these. I have had no luck.

the guy did all of you women a favor and answered the freakin question you all were oblivious to, and made fools of you to boot. he has a point, you guys often talk big but don't know crap about what you are talking about. craig dolansky was given medical and hardship points for the rest of the year last year after he lost the ride in the KKR car, and no one can still quite figure that one out since he didn't have a medical problem. i think they tried to call it unforseen circumstances. funny thing is, i don't think they let haud have any points last year under the unforseen circumstances rule when he wasn't allowed into canada.

I know this is only my 5th post, which of course means I know nothing, and I've just recently found this site, but I think I do have a question for the board experts...
Can someone tell me the weather for <fill in the blank> Speedway, I cant figure out anywhere else on the internet except a racing board that I can find the weather!
...btw, your welcome for answering the question with facts, and not just "i think its..."

A lot of the track websites have a link to one of the Internet weather sources with their location already plugged into it. I do that on my schedule page for the IRA. There are a number of websites available for weather anywhere. You just go to their website and enter the city name or zip code and away you go. The ones that come to mind are www.wunderground.com www.weather.com and www.intellicast.com and I'm sure there are others. As far as nailing it down to the exact track location and being able to put the track name in, I guess you would have to go to the track website and they still just give you the local area weather.

LOL. Nothing personal Bill, just busting your balls a bit for jumping in and calling us lazy sloths. I like to BS about racing and it's alot more interesting to ask a random question here than to look it up. Some have some interesting insight that you can't find on a web sight, and some just think they do.It's all in good fun for a bunch of race-a-holics. .....Except that one guy. He's just a jerk. You know who you are.
Anyway welcome to circus.

Bill isn't wrong about people going to a board for extremely easy questions because they have never heard of GOOGLE. Anything I don't know about or want to know about... I go to google and then typically to the direct website.
It isn't rocket science.
There are multiple ways to say something... Bill had one version of it. Doesn't diminish the fact that people spout off a bunch of garbage in here. Some are stupid and haven't figured that out yet, some are lazy, who knows what goes on in some minds to be honest. My guess is "very little".
I guess we fight through the headaches in an effort to talk about our common interest: sprint car racing. I honestly am not offended when the topics go into Indycars or midgets or silver crown... if it's fast and races... let's talk.
