Are all the other folks who get on here to promote their various items "licensed?" Just wondering.
P.S. As far as the shirt....no thanks. Too "busy" for an old guy like me!

You and me both.
I guess I am just a traditional shirt guy also.
A Hanes Beefy Tee in white ... with no skulls, no Darth Vader helmets ...no lightning flashes.
I saw a traditional '32 Ford, red hi-boy roadster with red steel wheels and chrome trim rings with baby moons' it has wide white walls with no flames or graphics anywhere.
It was in a Speedway Motors advertisement ... looked freakin' AWESOME ... but that's just me ... to each ...his own.

Add me to the list, I still feel uncomfortable in those billboard shirts and half the time you'll see me wearing a plan pocket T. Remember when a shirt with an STP logo was considered flashy? LOL
That is a pretty sharp design but eventually they all end up as rags out in the garage so I should probably stick with the $5.97 Walmart pocket T's.

The previous winners start, on the back, top to bottom then starts at bottom and goes up in next column. second column need flipped so most recent year is on the bottom. lol at first glance i thought Steve didnt win it last year..... other than that looks pretty cool. but i'll stick to offical licensed shirts.

The trend in t-shirt design for tracks or special events seems to be increasingly busy. I'd hate to have this shirt to try to explain to someone what a sprint car is. The Chili Bowl shirts have gotten so busy they are hard to read, also... but they've got to get all of their sponsors on the front along with the winner the previous year. The cool thing about the Chili Bowl is the photos of the past winning cars on the back. I hope the Knoxville Official shirt has some of the winning cars through the years - starting with the first winning car.
In other words - I like something like Earnest Jennings' t-shirt - with a photo of every car he has driven. Cool.
Open space is not wasted space!

Add me to the list that don't really care for the look ... too grungy for my taste. Also the font makes it look like Knoxville is spelled with a u instead of a v... and the e almost looks like a p ... Knoxuillp?

Damn, tough crowd, ah well, I believe it will do well regardless of it not being an "Official Licensed" design (Dennis is selling it on grounds so it's not like it's a bootleg, they allow "X" amount of "official" design licenses and after that your left to your own resources) or it's "grungy" appearance - after 30 years of designing sprint car t shirts the "grunge" style is like a breathe of fresh air to this old speedway artist, even though I'm a big fan of the pioneering original big name t shirt guys, like Tedder and G C Lord from the late 70's/early 80's.
Have a great nationals everyone, wish I was there.

Speaking of unlicensed shirts, at the Outlaw race at Sedalia, I saw a shirt that said 41st Annual USA Nationals. Looking at the names of the winners I quickly realized they were the Knoxville Nationals winners. Then for the location it said Marion County Speedway in Marion County, Iowa. It made me chuckle. Why buy a Knoxville Nationals shirt without Knoxville even printed on the shirt?

No one asked for my 2 cents. Steve is a talented artist but the car looks like it just spun out.
