A BIG crowd is expected to head to the Peoria Speedway for the "Kitchen Cooked" Sprint Car Summer Shootout.
The Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders are heading to Peoria on Sunday August 1st and drawing lots of attention to most in the area. A capacity crow and full pits is expected for this premier event of the year at Peoria Speedway.

Grandstand tickets are $18 and children are $10. Does anyone know what the pit passes are?

I have heard at least 25 Sprint Invaders. Plus a couple of non regular 360's have called. With a mixture of 305's to pop in, there should be probably 30-35 sprints.

Since its a sunday show you could maybe see some of the Knoxville 360 guys come down. I would also think that Brian Brown would be there and I wouldnt be surprised if Terry McCarl didnt drop in a 360 and show up. Having this show on sunday IMO will be a big factor in plenty of cars showing up.

Good luck, there is only approx 13 that run the series consistently. At the Cedar county fair race a couple weeks back I think they had like 14. I am going to make a nats ass guess of being lucky to get 21 cars. Knoxville regulars will be hesitant with the 360 nationals approaching and also since it is a 1/4 mile. I could very easily see Mcarl though stopping by.

From very reliable Sprint Invader racer, he has heard of 25 commited Sprint Invader racers attending. Calls keep pouring in about the $250 Top Finishing 305 BONUS. So, yes, I am very optamistic there will be one of the largest fields of Sprint Cars of their season. Will See everyone there.

Well, I hope your right and good attitude to have but don't be upset come drivers meeting and you have 20 360s and 3 305s. That's even betting on 4 or 5 jacksonville regulars and a couple knoxville drivers.
Hopefully pit passes aren't outrageous and they put a little more moisture than the last couple times the invaders have been there. Dusty and Rubberdown

Pit Passes are $25. This race is highly spoken of and I guarentee you, this race has been heavily promoted in the area. Come and check it out!!
