PETALUMA SATURDAY NIGHT??
With acuweather.com, weather.com and underground weather all calling for periods of showers tomorrow throughout the day and all predicting from 60% to 80% chance of rain starting around 6PM to 7PM Saturday evening, throughout the night and into Sunday, any idea when a decision will be made as to whether or not we are racing or if it will be cancelled?

I am still hoping we get this in. Maybe the rain will hold off until Sunday.

Rain quit here in Petaluma around 10 this AM and it is clear and sunny and 63 degrees at 6:30 PM. Too bad it is not tomorrow night, but we can hope.
Are we having fun yet?

Again we are faced with another decision regarding the weather. As I stated last weekend I really really want to go racing but from what I am seeing it's going to be a waste of time and money trying for what the inevitable is going to be. I really wish promoters and the fans knew what and how much it takes just to get the car to the track on a weekly basis. I know for myself having a two car team it's twice as bad as we will be facing a 9 hour round trip drive with two trailers. From what every forecast I have seen is calling for (weather.com, accuweather, weatherunderground, Yweather, and Intellicast) they are calling for at least 60% chance of rain during the day and 100% at night. It's going to cost a race team a minimum of $500.00 (Fuel/Pit passes) if we all get there and then the decision is made after we are signed in. I really like what Marysville did last week, its better to be safe than sorry and cancel the race in a timely matter to save EVERYONE in the end. If needed or possible lets get another date rescheduled!

Saturday, Apr 21 High: 61 °F RealFeel®: 65 °F Rather cloudy and cool; a couple of afternoon showers. 60% Chance of Rain Saturday Night, Apr 21 Low: 48 °F RealFeel®: 40 °F Breezy and cool with rain. 100% Chance of Rain
