He got in a wreck on the start I think.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

played catch up all night. poor qualifying. didn't transfer through his heat. worked his way through the B to barely transfer and then broke the front end right at the start of the first A.

Haud struggled and then wrecked? No way.

Did he get hurt? According to Doug Esh's facebook page, he's in the R19 for both races at Williams Grove this weekend.

Can't be, not with that fine Chinese craftmanship.

Well, some "respected honkys" have examined it and say it is fine stuff. I know of several drivers running it and they are very happy.

Ofcourse, my Corolla was made in the U.S. so that makes it acceptable! Wink

To clear up any misconceptions above with some facts ... Haud has a broken hand that will be preventing him from racing the car this weekend.

thanks mark for your support of haud as well as the other teams you help including billy aton out here in cali. too bad biased people have to give you crap. i remember years ago when small shops started making parts for sprintcars and selling them to racers for a savings, the big chassis companies and parts suppliers ragged on them and called them inferior and cheap and dangerous. just because they made stuff cheaper. then those same companies wanted to by the parts from the small shops and put their names on them because it was cheaper for them to by from them than make the stuff themselves. same part they called crap. not quite what you are up against, but along the same lines. many components in race cars are manufactured off shore and shipped over here to be assembled. so what. racing is dangerous we all know that. i am sure you as racers are conserned about what you put people in. i know you have friends running your cars. i have friends running your cars. they can get hurt in anything. we all hope they don't.

to indy and beyond!!
