I used to remember when this kid was one of the best gassers there was...now all I hear about him doing is injuring himself and spinning out. I believe hes spun out about 3 times tonight...twice in the first A man in Lernerville and he just spun while leading the 2nd A Main. He just doesnt have it anymore!! Sad to see!!

Wow, one bad night and you think he's gone to sh!t. He hurt himself AFTER winning that main. I don't know how much better you can do than win. 2010 season: 30 starts. 4 wins, 14 top fives, 21 top tens.
He's still a shoe I'd have drive for me..if I had a racecar.

I'm not a Tyler Walker hater, but he has been the recipient of two of the worst rulings I've ever seen.
You get to start on the pole of the B after winning the C main at the King's Royal.
Tonight he causes two yellows in feature #1, and gets to start on the pole of feature #2.
WTF?
Again I don't hate TW, and I'm not a fan either, but he is fun to watch. I think he is still getting use to a new team at a track he hasn't seen in a while, but those WoO rules aren't what they should be.

special events have their own format therefor they are not WOO rules. You have to find something else to pick on.

When Tyler was out here in Cali the few years he surely kicked some &ss, though not really a fan myself, seeing him and TK and Allard the last few years were pretty awesome I have to say. The tracks out West here are totally different then the tracks back East, our tracks are pretty much hooked up and are all either 1/4 or 3/8 with the exception of Calistoga being the only half mile, in which they might run twice a year. Given the time Tyler will prove he can still drive, it took him almost a year to totally dominate out here.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

Actually, the WoO rules use qualifying times to set the fields for both the C and B main... hence, IF TW was the fastest car out of the C, he got to start the B on the pole.....been that way forever.

On topic, Tyler is having a great year and enjoying life in PA. He had a rough night and found a way to find a loophole the rule for pole position. He coasted across the finish line. Then choked in the feature, he struggled but he will be back and ready to go for the Grove.

Did I not say that I don't like, or hate TW. Read the whole post next time. I had never seen that take place before (getting your time back for both the C & B)
I just don't think its right to get to start on the pole of the B if you just ran in the C main, no matter who it is
Does anyone else reading this know of another time where this occurred?

Why even run the C?
Put them all in the B and make it 25 laps!

Just to clarify the line-up procedure. In a "normal" WoO race, the C and B are both "assigned" and lined up according to qualifying time regardless of heat race finish. Therefor the C-main trasners always line up in the last 2 spots in the B. However the Kings Royal format takes positions 1-3 in the heats to the A, 4-6 to the B, and 7-9 to the C, THEN lines them up according to qualifying time. Walker timed faster than any driver finishing 4-6 in the heats. That's why he started on the pole of the B after winning the C. Again, this was the Kings Royal (Eldora) format, and not the "normal" WoO format.

I think some of the problem is that we hardly ever get to watch a "C" main event with the Outlaws.
Only 2 or 3 other times that I know of this year we have seen one. 1st at Williams Grove, Tatnell won the C and tagged the rear of the B along with Derek Sell. 2nd/3rd at Eldora both nights which used a different format. Finally at Knoxville in June they ran B mains, even though not a C main, they just ran a different format as Johnny had stated.
Thanks Johnny and keep up the good work.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

Thanks Johnny ,also I was standing in the 17 pit and Tyler came out of the hauler to tell the crew that he did not want them to fix the car in a rush because he thought he was tagging the rear of the B . He was not aware of his starting spot for the B if he was to transfer..
