(Fremont, OH) Tune into The Last Lap FASTcast on Wednesday July 20th as hosts Scott Barman and Brian Liskai look back at an exciting week of racing that started with the 22nd Annual Brad Doty Classic and concluded with the crowning of King Kinser the 27th at The Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway. They are joined this week by O'Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car driver Greg Wilson, the 2010 DIRTcar Summer Nationals "Hell Tour" Champion Jason Feger and Randy Mapus of the Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame.
"The Wild Man" Greg Wilson just finished up a great week of racing that started with a 4th-place finish at West Virginia Motor Speedway followed by consecutive podium finishes in New York (2nd at Can-Am; 3rd at Utica-Rome), a career-best 5th place finish at The Kings Royal and ended with a 3rd-place finish at Tri-City Speedway on Sunday. The Findlay, Ohio native aboard the DNC Hydraulics, All Star Plumbing & Heating, Don Snyder Excavating backed #W20 seems to be peaking at the right moment as he looks to hold onto his 2nd place in All Star points from a stout group of youthful challengers.
Jason Feger joins the show following a grueling 32-days of racing across the Midwest in what is simply known as "The Hell Tour." Feger picked up two wins during the DIRTcar Summer Nationals (Tri-City 7/9; Attica 7/16) and clinched the his first-career "Hell Tour" Championship in dominating fashion as he led the entire feature event at Attica Raceway Park. The defending UMP DIRTcar National Points Champion now sets his sights on defending his UMP title aboard the Pro Tire Automotive, Advanced Racing Suspensions, Stern Ironworks, Jaxon Chase Steel Detailing backed #25.
Randy Mapus also stops by to talk about the exciting events taking place this Saturday night at Fremont Speedway as the track honors Mike Holman on Beck Oil Night. Holman was a flagman at the speedway for many years and tragically lost his life at the track in 1995. Mapus will also talk about the raffle taking place that supports the new Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame and features a grand prize of an autographed Joey Saldana helmet. Other events include a raffle for the Richard Petty Driving Experience and Waterman Pumps will be bringing a check to benefit the Fremont Hall of Fame.
