Win as if you are use to it.And lose as if you enjoyed
it for a change. Its hard to get to the top and alot
harder to stay there.

Luther, didn't you remember hospitals are for the the off season unless you crashed or got on your head? Hang tough and remember you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Luther Brewer told me one time he said,,get that Race Car felling just right and then go out there .......AND RING IT OUT........So i did and it worked..And it kept me from getting fired from that ride.Cause back in the day if you could not get it done they would find somebody that could..

I was thinking about Luther today and did a little search with the Google Machine. The first quote came from http://openpaddock.net and the author was Doug Patterson.
"Luther Brewer was a constructor of sprints and supermodifieds during the 1960s and early 70s in the Kansas City region. His cars were extremely successful and innovative. Everyone wanted to drive a Brewer car, and every other car builder was simply playing catch-up to his innovations and designs."
The next quote came from http://www.formula1blog.com
"In preparing for the upcoming Kansas IndyCar event, I've been reading about the open-wheel history from around Kansas City and came across one of the most amazing individuals, Luther Brewer. Mr. Brewer was a car builder back in the 50s and 60s and a race promoter in the 70s. His cars were amazing, and his recollection of details of his creations and the events in which they were involved reminds me of Donald Davidson's legendary recall abilities."
These are not your typical dirt track forums. I was so impressed that they were talking about our friend on this forum Luther E. Brewer.
When Luther sent me his photos of his cars for the site I was so impressed cause I had heard about Luther and knew he was one of our legends in the sport. There are many racers who are visitors of the site but not many take or took the time to send me photos for the site. I'm was so humbled Luther wanted his photos on the site.
Thanks Luther and we are thinking of you today.
