This race rocked!!! I had a blast even in the horrid heat and humidity. Thank you to Bruce St James for taking the extreme heat back w/him to Phoenix. LOL

Seriously, Kevin Montgomery runs a great show with not a lot of downtime. I think the show would have been done sooner if they had done the meet & greet before racing instead of between the B and the A Mains. It was still fun as I got to see my buds before they raced. Due to the heat, we didn't go into the pits after and that was mostly because of getting to see and talk to everyone during the meet & greet.

It was so much fun watching everyone. The racing was fantastic. There were some tore up cars, but hey, that's racing. It's tough on those who are involved and there's another thread trashing some of the guys but hey, emotions run high when it's your money out there.

Only drawback was the lack of push trucks. I know gas prices are extreme but 3 push trucks is really lacking. Maybe we need to take up a collection for the push truck drivers to help defray their gas costs? If everyone pitched in $1 I know it would help those guys out a bunch. They are a bunch of unsung heroes in our sport and we need to take care of them.

Thank you to the Kazarians, Kevin Montgomery and to all of the ASCS teams for towing over and making such a great show. This is one fan who really enjoyed the great racing.

RIP Chet and Mark. You might be gone but never will
be forgotten.

How much to get in, and how much to park trip?.. To tell the truth, I can't remember the last time I payed to park, or camp at a track here in AZ... I know, the fairgrounds.

The show was excellent. The racing throughout the night was intense. The photo/autograph esession before the main was a great idea. I saw several kids sitting in cars getting their pictures taken with huge smiles on their faces.

Ticket prices were normal unless you had your 3rd of July ticket stub which was good for a 2 for 1 entry. Parking was normal, $5. There was nothing out of the ordinary as far as price wise considering that the racing was great, the car count was good and the show was just as good as any USAC/CRA show I've seen this year at Perris.

No complaints from this fan.

No one has ever heard me complain about ticket prices ever, but a simple request for the price + parking was not out of line, and a simple answer for my Aquarius curiosity shouldn't be to much to ask regardless.

If I had to guess Kenny, it would be $20 with $5 for parking. And your right fairgrounds parking. Of course we seniors get a break. The PAS had a special for the ASCS race with one ticket stub from July 4th USAC/CRA race good for two admissions. A good deal!

Thanks Robert, that sounds about right, but I still would like to know for sure what their charging you Cali folks to see my home team......I can't remember the last time I thought I was paying to much for a Sprint car show, but I imagine it might have been the last time I went to a Outlaw show. Now I went to all the slick 50 show's, and don't remember thinking much about it then. I also saw them when they opened Hollywood Hills Speedway in N.M.... Now that I think about it some more, I didn't pay to much the last time; but haven't gone to see them again either.

Found this,http://www.perrisautospeedway.com/site/thisweek.html but I'm still looking! Is my 20 seconds up yet?... Did you go?

OK I'm back, and I did find that (above), but under CRA/USAChttp://pas.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=239103 prices. I'm way over 20 seconds now..LOL.. I'll be back with the ASCS price's?

Nope, me think it's not there any longer http://pas.tix.com/Schedule.asp?OrganizationNumber=7 and it may have taken you 20 seconds "at most", but me think you took a wrong turn going to fast.

That's just the opening page...http://www.perrisautospeedway.com/index.html...been there done that!... Again, show me something besides the CRA/USAC regular Saturday night price's. The ASCS's schedule and prices for the 17th are long gone..... Didn't know the price of admission was top secret, and I also guess you weren't there by your non-answer.

So I say one more time my friend.....Nope, me think it's not there any longer http://pas.tix.com/Schedule.asp?OrganizationNumber=7 and it may have taken you 20 seconds "at most", but me think you took a wrong turn going to fast.
