Sprints: 16 cars
1. Gary Owens 2. Robert Sellers 3. Shawn Bloomquist 4. Chris Lloyd 5. Koby Barksdale
It was good racing tonight. Jimmy Taylor and Shane Sellers get together early in the race, but both return. Shane did a good job racing his "non-wing" car for the rest of the feature and stayed competitive.
Also, Kyle Ezell went for a wild ride on the backstretch when he got together with Robert Sellers. The car looked pretty torn up when they hauled it off the track. Joe Bob Lee was in the top 5, but had to go to the pits with a flat that cost him several positions.
The mod feature was won by Chadd Howell. Doug Bragg was 2nd and Stanley Reed, Jr. was 3rd.
Special note: After watching Shane without the wing tonight, it sure made me want to see these guys run a show wingless. Maybe David or somebody can use their influence on one of the promoters!

Dirt it as nice meeting you last night by the way at 44. I know "hog wagon" JD has been telling the promoter at Enid he needs to get a class. I talked to the Enid promoter the other night via FB he said that the motors they are building for the 305's up at Dodge are in the 5 digit range. He said that the costs must come down.
If Brill can get his class going then it would be a good thing. I know for a fact of other promoters in the state that are looking at what Brill is trying to do.

Thanks for the results, DD! Non-wing Champs would be great to see, but I bet you'd have to work on all the drivers and owners first. Most of them, from what I remember on here, don't want to tear their stuff up without a wing.
Btw, word is the 129 Outlaw (Brandon Hahn) is suspended for the next 2 ASCS2 races. 'Bout freakin' time, huh?!! Of course, we'll have to wait and see for sure, tho.
Let's Go Racin'!!

I can understand why the drivers don't want to tear up their equipment, but it sure would be fun for the fans. I agree with Erich that the class at Brill would be a good thing and hopefully others will get on board.
As for Brandon Hahn, I'll believe the suspension after it happens. He was supposed to be gone tonight as well. If I was Blake Hahn, it would be time to change the color of the car. I wouldn't want to be associated with him.
It was nice meeting you as well Erich. You and Wes should have come to Lawton tonight. It was $10 carload night and you got the makeup fireworks show as well. Oh wait Wes, you had the Hahn fireworks show! You got the better deal.

Dale we might have the Justin Allen fireworks show on this board in the next few days if what the person on my post about Brill's asked me was true.

I was / am trying to get a 2 Barrel non-wing show together at maybe Lawton and I asked about 35 teams and 33 of them said they would run a non-wing race. I know some of them prob. would not, but I still think there would be a good number of cars show up for it. I have not had the time to go much further with it, but I will do whatever I can to make one happen. If might be next year before it happens, but I hope to make one happen.
